Jazz Cats are a classic 5 piece jazz band, combining the energy of 5 top musicians from the south east of England.
Drawing from a range of exciting and eclectic influences, including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Imelda May, Caro Emerald and Madeleine Peyroux, the band performs the best in melodic jazz classics from the roaring twenties to the swinging sixties, and right up to the present day, with smooth and impeccable style.
Many of the standards such as Gershwin's 'summertime' and sultry tunes such as 'why don't you do right' are revisited and performed in a new, engaging way.
Jazz Cats have played at numerous restaurants, hotels, bars and music clubs, and are the perfect accompaniment to any private / corporate party or wedding.
